Our Impact

We are a research foundation, and our primary mission is to fund translational research for childhood cancers, by raising awareness and funds.

75% of our revenue comes from people like you who either make a donation, or organize a fundraiser through their group, community, or company.  It is people like you who allow us to continue to Make Some Noise for kids cancer, and help fund the cure research!

So far, with your help, we have:

  • provided $1.5 Million in critical support to researchers who are working hard to find the cures for our kids,
  • reached over 20 Million people with the story of childhood cancer,
  • provided non-monetary support to 386 cancer families,
  • delivered Bear 2 Cure Bears to childhood cancer clinics in 5 states,
  • displayed the National Angel Quilt in 41 states.

We have also been a founding member of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2), an organization designed to unite organizations and advocates to help share information and foster collaborative efforts to advance the cause for childhood cancer.  Our president joined the inaugural board in October 2014, and is currently serving her third term.  She helped spearhead and run the Research Interest Group there for three years, and co-chaired the organizations first research conference last fall.at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories.  This conference was a first of its kind collaborative and inter-disciplinary meeting, bringing together all stakeholders in the pediatric cancer community to help examine emerging technologies, explore the current landscape, and identify barriers to progress.  Researchers, funders, advocates, industry and regulatory representatives joined the conversation.  Read the Proceedings Manual from the meeting
