Vince is the oldest of four children. He was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in September 2008. His cancer was in his humerus, (arm bone), and had taken over two thirds of the bone. He underwent 13 chemo treatments, 25 radiation treatments, limb sparing surgery on his right arm, and physical therapy to regain mobility in his arm. Vince completed treatment on January 8, 2010. He is currently cancer free, busy enjoying life, and helping to raise cancer awareness. His family is praying that he will remain cancer free forever.

*Ewing's Sarcoma is a highly aggressive and malignant form of pediatric bone cancer, which can be found in both bone and soft tissue. Ewing's is caused by a genetic accident, which occurs when two chromosomes transpose at the time of fetal development. The recurrence rate for Ewing's is 50%, and has no known cure for recurrence.
