The Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer Foundation was established in September 2009 by a child with cancer to raise national awareness and critically needed research funds as 1 in every 320 children are diagnosed with cancer, yet they receive only 3% of the research funding to find the cures. Make Some Noise was selected as a Top 3 Finalist for Best New Charity in the Classy Awards in Sept. 2011, and in January 2012, the founder, Malcolm was recognized by NJ’s First Lady as aNJ Hero. To date, Make Some Noise has raised over $1M and established corporate headquarters in northern NJ, with chapters in Boston, Denver, Seattle, Western NY, and more in the works. Our Mission Statement:
The Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer Foundation was established by a child with cancer with one purpose in mind: to fund pediatric cancer research. To that end, the foundation serves as a vehicle to secure private funding to distribute to research facilities and promote awareness through its fund raising activities. The designation of funds to various research facilities is cancer specific and based on the foundation’s annual evaluation of the latest research.
