The National Angel Quilt will feature images, names and ages of children who have lost their battles with cancer. These beautiful children may have lost the cancer battle, but all are the most inspiring heroes and have each earned their angel wings.
The Angel Quilt will honor these angels of pediatric cancer, and we are very excited to bring Pediatric Cancer Awareness to the country in such a beautiful and meaningful way.
To bring special attention to Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, The National Angel Quilt will tour the country beginning in Washington D.C. in September 2011. The quilt will then travel the country over the next several months. It will tour the country again a year later.
ADD AN ANGEL
TO THE NATIONAL ANGEL QUILT:
We are hoping to feature as many angels as possible on the quilt to demonstrate that kid's cancer is not so "rare" and honor all these amazing children who never gave up, and never lost their faith, hope, courage, and love.
If you would like to add your angel to the national quilt, please email us two or three favorite photos of your angel. Include your mailing address, your angel's name, and their age when they earned their wings. We will be looking to use the one with the best quality image possible.
We will transfer the image to a quilt panel and mail it to you so that you may add anything you would like around the photo. Feel free to add messages from family, friends, or just some little personal effects to decorate the panel.
Once you have finished the panel, mail it back to us and our squadron of quilters will lovingly stitch your angel's panel into the national quilt to be memorialized forever.
Email us your photos and information:

PANELS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE FOUNDATION BY JUNE 15th, 2011
so we have time to finish the quilt, have it photographed for publicity for the National Tour, and have it transported to D.C.
Any Angels with brand new wings around this date will be included after this date if it is at all possible.
